The image in this listing is a 2 story Greek Revival Home, there are 5 people on the front steps and 1 more in an upstairs window Image measures: 9 5/8" x 7 9/16" essentially an 8x10 - and mounted to an album page approximately 11x14 The Albumen print was invented in France by Louis Blanquart-Evrard; and arose as a solution to the challenge faced by photographers with the chemistry involved in "fixing" (stabilizing) the actual image.
