Description
Here's an unusual real photo postcard of the classic 9-story Renaissance Revival-style YMCA building at the corner of Central Parkway and Elm St. in Cincinnati's Over-the-Rhine. Unusual because the buildings and background were whited out with a super-early version of PhotoShop. Very nice image of the 1918 building, the cornerstone of which was laid by President William Howard Taft. The building still stands and was recently renovated at a cost of $29 million. Card published by The Process Photo Studios, Chicago. Card was postally used in 1936 and has a 1-cent Ben Franklin stamp on back.
