Here is a lot of 5 antique, original photos featuring Thousand Islands, c. 1910s. These photos were part of a small album that I found with all the pages loose. One of the pages had a typed listing of all the photos but the pages were out of order and some were not there. I was able to identify some and already listed those, and then there are these that I haven't been able to positively identify, as I am totally unfamiliar with the area. The captions are below, but I don't know which goes with which...People familiar with the area will probably know. These are beautiful photos; I love the reflections on the water. Photos measure approximately 4" x 6"; some slightly smaller. One has a small corner tear. Some are still affixed to black paper; a couple are not. Locations: 1. The lower Genesee, from Seneca Park 2. Smoke Island, at Canadian side of Thousand Islands 3. Westminster Park, at Thousand Islands, near Alexandria Bay 4. View from Thousand Island Park to Grenell Island 5. Landons Bay, near Gananoque, Thousand Islands 6. View from Snake Island, at Thousand Islands 7. Irodequoit Bay, from Float bridge, looking toward Webster (I'm pretty sure this is the one with the little boats) All photos/paper items are shipped in protective plastic with hard boards to prevent damage during shipping.
