Description
Antique, original albumen photos (10) featuring various boats/crew/sights at Scarborough Harbour, North Yorkshire, England, c. 1890s - 1900s. I was able to identify "London Pilot No. 1" and "Constance" SH21 (wrecked in 1910, apparently). "Constance" is photographed in front of the Scarborough Pier Lighthouse (a nice photo showing the lighthouse prior to the damage of WWI). There are photos of a couple other ships that I couldn't identify; one is marked "LT725". There are four photos featuring what appears to be crew members/workers (and/or possibly ship owners?) taken aboard an unidentified ship. A man is seen wiping down one of the air vents/ventilators (?) There's a photo of a lady seated beside some kind of rustic, log gazebo that appears to be overlooking the water. Photos measure approximately 3" x 4", respectively. All photos/paper items are shipped in protective plastic with hard boards to prevent damage during shipping. Be sure to check out my shop for more! I'm always listing new treasures. I will combine shipping on multiple items!
